I’m an architect and urban designer. I work at the Urban Land Institute as the founding executive director of the Daniel Rose Center for Public Leadership. In that capacity, I am helping to develop tools that will educate and empower public officials to make more sound land use decisions.
Previously, I worked at the American Architectural Foundation, largely on a program known as The Mayors’ Institute on City Design.Prior to that, I was an Enterprise Rose Architectural Fellow at Urban Ecology in Oakland and San Francisco.
I live in Washington, DC with a parrot, a dog, a husband, and 2 daughters.
